Periodontitis adalah peradangan pada jaringan pendukung gigi yang disebabkan oleh kelompokmikroorganisme tertentu salah satunya bakteri Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, yangmenyebabkan kerusakan ligamen periodontal dan tulang alveolar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmembuktikan apakah ekstrak teh putih efektif menghambat pembentukan biofilm bakteriAggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans secara in vitro. menggunakan metode dilusitabung guna mendapatkan persentase zona hambat serta penentuankuantitatif program Adobe Photoshop CSS yakni Mean Gray Value. Konsentrasi ekstrakteh digunakan 0%, 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, 10%, 12,5%. Dalam hal 0% sebagai kontrol.Pada konsentrasi 5% menunjukkan daya penghambatan paling efektif. Analisisdata one way Anova adanya perbedaan signifikan perubahankonsentrasi (Camellia sinensis) terhadap padaAggregatibacter (p<0,05). Uji korelasi Pearson adanyahubungan kuat arah positif semakin meningkatnya maka dayahambat Kesimpulan dari penelitian putih(Camellia mempunyai efek penghambat Aggregatibacteractinomycetemcomitans
